A one-day interactive, practical workshop offering coaches an understanding of how to integrate intercultural know-how and sensitivity for more impact.Enriching the practice of coaching with individuals, teams and organizations by learning how to leverage all forms of cultural differences.

The day will include a mix of large group, small group work and exercises, personal reflection time and theoretical input.

From this programme you will:

  • •Learn how to release higher creativity, achieve greater impact, as well as promote unity by making the most of alternative cultural perspectives;
  • •Discover how to go beyond current cultural norms, values, and beliefs (and stereotypes) when working with people;
  • •Acquire a vocabulary to describe salient cultural characteristics;
  • •Learn about the Cultural Orientations Framework (COF) assessment and how the tool can be used to promote individual, team and organizational development.

THE WORKSHOP

In this one-day workshop, you will learn how to enrich the coaching process by systematically weaving a cultural perspective into it. Philippe Rosinski has built upon the work of various interculturalists (Hofstede, Hall, Trompenaars etc.) to offer a novel dynamic and inclusive understanding of culture, best suited to avoid stereotyping and promote instead unity in diversity.

You will experience first-hand the new Cultural Orientations Framework (COF) assessment, a roadmap and assessment tool to navigate the cultural terrain. You will have the possibility to use the COF assessment at no cost with individual clients/participants afterwards.

You will realize that coaching across cultures is not reserved for those working on international assignments and traveling abroad. As you will see, coaching across cultures is essentially a more creative and powerful form of coaching that concerns every professional coach! It will broaden your repertoire by allowing you to make the most of various time management approaches, definitions of identity, organizational arrangements, communication patterns, modes of thinking, etc. Coaching across cultures will help to bring your work with individuals, teams and organizations to the next level.

Already prior to event, you will discover your own individual COF profile, which we will then examine during our day together, so you can find out how your cultural orientations may affect your work and discover new developmental avenues. Philippe will also share examples and best practices from his 25+ years international experience in individual and team coaching, as well as in organizational development (notably in the cases of alliances and mergers & acquisitions).

This experiential workshop will combine interactive presentations, individual reflections, peer coaching, intercultural coaching demonstration and group discussions.
